Overview
The Remediation Radar provides a high-level view of remediation activity across the domains Backline supports in your environment. Each dot on the radar represents a remediation, allowing you to spot SLA risk, understand automation impact, and drill into details fast. Use it to:- Monitor remediation progress against SLAs
- Identify patterns (bottlenecks, hot spots, recurring areas)
- Understand the distribution of Automated vs Hybrid remediations
- Explore and drill into specific remediations (details, PRs, timeline and more)
What You’ll See
Domain Sections
The radar is divided into sections—one per vulnerability type. The number of sections is dynamic, based on which domains exist for your tenant.Section “real estate” expands or shrinks based on how many remediations appear in that domain.
SLA Rings (Urgency)
Remediations are positioned by time-to-SLA, with closer proximity to the center indicating higher urgency:- Outer ring: SLA due in more than 1 month
- Ring 1: 1 month → 1 week
- Ring 2: 1 week → today
- Ring 3: Overdue (highlighted in red)
Nodes (Remediation Dots)
Each node encodes key signals at a glance: Color = Remediation Mode- Green: Automated (Autonomous)
- Orange: Hybrid (human-in-the-loop)
- Small: up to 3
- Medium: up to 10
- Large: above 10
The Radar shows up to 250 nodes, sorted by SLA urgency, so the most time-sensitive work stays visible.
Radar Center
At the center, you’ll see a roll-up count of the vulnerabilities currently being addressed by in-progress remediation work. What’s Included in the Radar
By default, the radar focuses on active remediation work, so you can prioritize what needs attention now. It includes remediations in statuses such as:- Pending
- Pending approval
- In progress
- Not Supported
When you switch to the Radar view, the status filter automatically excludes resolved/no-fix categories to keep the view actionable.
